Softball Canada Field Mechanics Clinic
Schools are held in the
Spring each year upon request of the Provincial/Territorial UIC's. This advanced
mechanics school is designed for advanced umpire systems including level I
through Level IV
umpires.

The
Kitchener-Waterloo Umpires Assoc. is pleased to announce the S/C Mechanics
Clinic for Ontario is being held in Kitchener Ont. this May 10th & 11th @
Budd Park.
Cost
of the clinic is $135.00 and application should be sent to the Softball Ontario
office, attn: Stephanie Sutton.
This
clinic is fortunate to have Mr. Mark Gough as lead instructor. Mark is part of
the Softball Canada ODC, as well as Mr. Doug Cundall, also of the ODC, and Mr.
Len Georgie who has been chosen for his vast experience in Slow Pitch mechanics.
Up
to date mechanics will be covered in both fast pitch as well as slow-pitch, as
well as rule interpretations-- with on-field as well as classroom involvement.
This
clinic will count as part of the umpires everyother year mandatory attendance at
a refresher/Blue convention/ITC participation to keep current with Softball
Ontario's mandate for current ability to attend Canadian championship status.
As
a participant, you will be asked to apply as soon as possible, as participation
is limited to no more than 50 students.

What to Bring:
pen/pencil, paper, good attitude, a desire to learn. If you are planning on
staying at the Edmonton Garrison for the Clinic/School that you will be required
to bring your own towels and toiletries. This is just a bed and a place to sleep
(dorm style facility located in Building 163)...not a hotel. Meal hall is just
across the road from this building.

in turn will contact the ASUA UIC.
